A lot of the issues affecting our communities can be fixed if we are united. Be involved and engaged in your community. For instance, activities such as money circles can bring people together and act as a catalyst for positive change.

Indeed, the price of social unrest or social protest is small incremental changes. However, the price for consistent voting is radical and fast change. We have the lucky and the incredible opportunity to live in the most powerful democracy on earth. In fact, that exceptionality gives citizens a unique power to change things. Your voice matter so please don’t be distracted. Let’s exercise our voting right.

Ultimately, if more people of color are business owners, homeowners, asset owners, the more positive impact they can start generating in the country. It is all about the economy and we haven’t yet reached that critical mass.

Conclusion

Institutionalize racism against people of color, has been around for more than 400 years. For sure, it is not going to end anytime soon. That is why, we shouldn’t be distracted or fall back on our comfort because of some bandage measures due to the current unrest. Even though, we welcome all new initiatives, we need to keep focus.
